2005-09-06 * Moron Hacks our Bulletin Board!
Some mentally deficient teenager has "hacked" our bulletin board.
The old messages are gone. I don't think I'll be fixing this as
few people really used it.

2004-08-03 * Big changes
Now, registration with valid e-mail address is required.
Stricter firewall rules - if your computer seems to be infected
with a worm or virus you'll hear from me.
Free logins can access port 80 and 443 only, upload speed very limited.
Tougher policy on abusers - I will block any computers from which
repeated registration with any bogus e-mail address occurs.

2004-07-25 * Berkeley Marina Down 7/23-7/25
The new washer/dryer in the yacht club wreaked havoc on the servo
in the IBM hard disk in the gateway system. It simply would fail
everytime somebody did laundry! Replaced with a Maxtor drive,
identical to one used for backup in the gateway that was not affected
by the electrical interference. System was down since Friday evening
(7/23, backup on on 7/25). Also running Fedora Core 2 now.

2004-04-11 * Internet Explorer Login Problem
IE on Windows would not connect to auth.wificoop.net.
It appears to be an issue related to the server's SSL certificate.
I created a new certificate which seems to have solved the problem.

2004-04-04 * Both hard disks fail in authentication gateway
Against the odds, both hard disks failed in the authentication gateway
I rebuilt the system.
I took the "opportunity" to move from RedHat 9, to Fedora 1 and Linux 2.6.

2004-03-28 * At long last, the WiFi Coop is operational.
Bandwith controls are in place! If you already have a username and password
please join the coop to get the speed you are used to.
This service will die without your support!
